- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (7-1/2 ounces) pink salmon, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet red pepper
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke, optional
- Finely chopped pecans or additional parsley
- Crackers
Combine the first eight ingredients in a bowl and stir until blended. Cover and chill for up to 24 hours, sprinkle with pecans or parsley, and serve with crackers.
Creamy Taco Dip
If the countdown to game time is well underway, this 15-minute dip is perfect for you! First, let’s make sure you have all the ingredients:
- 1 package (8 ounces) fat-free cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
- 1/2 cup taco sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 can (15 ounces) fat-free refried beans
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded fat-free cheddar cheese
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped ripe olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green chiles
- Tortilla chips
Once you have all the ingredients, grab a large bowl to mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth, and stir in the taco sauce and cumin. Next, spread the bottom of your serving platter with refried beans, and add the cream cheese mixture. Make sure to leave some room to add lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and chiles to the top. Lastly, serve with chips!
Cheddar-Bacon Dip
Check out this fan-favorite that is not just for tailgates but any celebrations! For the Cheddar-Bacon Dip, the only ingredients you’ll need include the following:
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 5 green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 jar (16 ounces) taco sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Tortilla or nacho tortilla chips
First things first, you will need to beat the cream cheese and sour cream. Once it’s smooth, spread it in an ungreased plate or dish, add the onions, tomatoes, and green peppers to the top, and drizzle the taco sauce over the combined vegetables. To finish it up, make sure to sprinkle cheese over the top, refrigerate it, and before serving, add bacon.
