It’s time to take it to the next level with this incredible easy lobster bisque recipe. And spoiler, it’s much simpler to make than you might think; but that won’t stop everyone who eats it from thinking you’re a gourmet chef. Let’s take a look at how it’s done.

What’s In It?

To make the bisque, you need quite a few ingredients, including: 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 onion finely chopped, 2 carrots peeled and finely chopped, and 2 stalks celery finely chopped. For the full list of bisque ingredients, check out the recipe.

Making the lobster meat is so simple that it’ll become your next staple recipe! All you need is 4 lobster tails, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 cloves garlic minced, and salt/pepper/cayenne to taste. Yep, that’s it.

Step By Step

The first step is to make the lobster stock. This can be done by boiling the lobster tails, reserving the meat, simmering the water (now stock), and then chopping the meat.

Next up, it’s time to make the bisque by adding all of the ingredients together, then adding the stock, then stirring until it’s super thick. Blend it until it’s creamy, then add in the heavy cream.

Making the lobster is so easy. Heat the butter, sauté the garlic, then add in the meat and seasonings until the meat is warm.

Then, add your meat to your soup and you have a hearty seafood meal that will fill you up for hours and remind you just how much you love the chilly weather.
