There are thousands of children in need across America, and with your help, they could be provided with crucial care. The 9th annual Emerald Coast Mud Run for Orphans offers the chance to do something to help orphans while also having a fun day full of exercise. The Mud Run will be taking place from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 16. There will be several events for everyone, including competitive races for more serious athletes as well as fun runs for children and those just wanting to have a good time. There are a limited number of spots available for each race, so act now and reserve your spot. All proceeds will go to Heart of the Bride, a charity for orphans and at-risk children. Bring the entire family out to enjoy friendly competition, getting muddy, and doing something good for those in need.
All About the Mud Run
You have many options to choose from when deciding which race you would like to participate in. First, there is the 10K Elite Warrior Race for all those experienced runners. There is also a 5K Competitive Race for those who want to compete against their fellow runners. If you’re just looking for a good time, you may want to choose the 5K Fun Run. The afternoon is full of events for younger athletes, with two 1-Mile Kids Fun Runs. The fun doesn’t stop there! The Zero Dark Dirty, a 5K Fun Run taking place from 8 to 10 p.m., will have you running through the mud pits and obstacles in the dark.
Each participant for all the different races will receive a medal and a T-shirt! Prices for each of these races vary, from $29 to $79, and every dollar raised through this event will go directly toward helping children who are in need.
