Don your favorite costume and head down to Main Street in downtown Crestview, FL, for a fall festival that promises fun for the whole family – even the four-legged members, with the special pet costume contest that rounds out the other attractions. The event takes place on October 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the pet parade and costume contest kicking off at 2. The costume contest for humans (groups and individuals up to age 18) will follow at 3 p.m.
This free event is destined to become one of your family’s favorite Halloween-season attractions. There will be free treats as well as food and drink concessions, vendors, artists, games and kid-friendly activities, and lots of fun things to see and do.
More Fall Fun in Crestview
To get a jump start on the autumn activities in Downtown Crestview, register for the 3rd annual Hay Bale Decorating Contest. Starting October 18, you can start decorating your bale, which must be completed by Thursday, October 24. Fall Festival attendees will cast their votes, and prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners. The decorated bales will be displayed on the grass median of Main Street and will remain on display for two weeks after the festival.
