Celtic Woman brings some of the most talented singers and musicians from Ireland to stages all over the world. If you haven’t been to a show before, you’re in for a treat. There’s nothing quite like a Celtic Woman concert. The music they perform combines traditional Irish music and contemporary music to make something you’ve never heard before.
Celtic Woman is a collective of vocalists and violinists. But at their concerts, there are a lot of performers accompanying them. You’ll get to see Irish dancers perform during the music. Then there’s the band. You can hear all kinds of traditional Celtic instruments like bagpipes, bodhran, tin whistle, bouzouki, and Uileann pipes.
This show is part of the brand new Ancient Land Tour. In fact, it’s only the third stop on that tour. You’ll love getting to hear new songs and see a beautiful new performance. During this tour, you’ll hear vocalists Mairéad Carlin, Éabha McMahon, and Megan Walsh. Tara McNeill will perform on the fiddle.
While the performers rotate during different tours and recordings, the sound of Celtic Woman remains the same. Check out some of their albums before the show to get an idea of what you’ll be hearing. You may be surprised at how enjoyable the unique sound is.
